I met the curators of Bale Anghel when I performed in Cafe Museo two months ago.
Bale Anghel is a shelter, a home for street children in the heart of Angeles City. These kids have been out on the street, begging for alms, 35 of them now, and they cling to this home because they can have the convenience of taking a bath, eat a good meal, read books, learn how to write, even play music instruments. Most of them are in school now!
I figured it’s about time to do another hometown show – this time, for a good cause, together with my fellow Kapampangan artists and musicians.
With a much needed help from UP Musician’s Guild and We are the Underdogs Productions, We assembled a team and everything is set for July 29.
The show will take place in Kalye Lakandula Art Gallery.
The proceeds will be used to purchase Art and School Materials for the 35 Children of Bale Anghel. All is well!
